Born: in the village of Tsoukalades in Lefkada to parents Nikolaos and Annetta. He finished primary school, high school and high school in Lefkada.

He has given evidence of his honesty in all the positions he has served until today and stands out for his ability to communicate with the world, to understand the problems and to implement projects and activities that aim at the economic development of the country and in particular of Lefkada and the rise of the prosperity of the Greek people with open horizons to promote the national relations of Greece with the rest of the world. He has a long and valuable experience in the agricultural issues of the country.

V. DISPUTES

  • He received the «Elena and Eleftherios Venizelos» Scholarship (1973-1974) and the «United Nations» Scholarship (1974-1975) and was awarded with:
  • The International Award - Gold Medal of the «Officer of European Agriculture» by the French Government (V. Giscard D'Estaing) in 1980 for his contribution to the development of European agriculture and aid to developing countries (EDA)
  • The International High Distinction Award from the Dutch Government for the promotion of relations between the countries of the Netherlands and Greece (November 2002).
  • The International Award for the Best Presence in the Commercial and Industrial Sector of Europe (Madrid, October 1985), as Financial Advisor to EUROFOOD POIOTITA S.A.
  • The International Award for Tradition and Excellence - Europe 2002 (Sofia, March 2002), as Financial Advisor to EUROFOOD POIOTITA S.A.
  • He is a member of the Hellenic Society of Economic Sciences, Vice President of the Association for Hellenism and Orthodoxy, and a member of many Associations of Friends of Music and Culture.
  • He has been a lecturer and speaker at several International Conferences.
  • He was an athlete in classical races.
  • In the time he has for himself, he enjoys reading, travelling and music.
